Some good summer pics, and we'll be closing on a new abode August 15th if all goes well. As many of you know, we've been looking to move for 3-5 years depending on what story I remember. It's been difficult to commit to all the things that go with moving into a new house 700+ miles from the nearest family. After a couple years of serious non-commitment, we pushed through. Got a realtor, looked at two houses, bid on the second. It's about one mile from our current house. Next thing you know I'm in the process of owning two primary residences yet again. I have a bad habit of "winning" the houses I bid on. Some might say I bid too high....

We've gotten serious miles out of 15 Cheney Ct. Our life as a family of four is exclusively here. I've never lived in any house as long as I've lived in this one! I don't know what to make of that, but for all the reasons I wanted out, this process has made me really appreciate what we managed here.

We just finished yard sale day 1 today. Tomorrow is the residual. Next week this house goes on the market. Wish us luck.
