A PIRATE LOOKS AT FORTY
I've never been a huge Jimmy Buffett fan but like many people of my (and several other) generation, I went through a phase and got to know his most popular music. I turned forty yesterday. I woke up with the title song in my head not having given it a thought in maybe over a decade.

MAKING UP FOR LOST TIME
Two hundred and thirty-two days since my last update. I'm sure I lost a few email addresses along the way. It's been a very busy 7 months and 20 days apparently. All three boys have had birthdays. A few holidays. A few vacations. A few sports. I have 68 pictures loaded to try to catch you up.

THE WINTER CLASSIC
I couldn't wait too long to share the joy of the Winter Classic at Fenway Park. What an amazing day! For those that don't know, two "original six" hockey teams--the Boston Bruins and the Philadelphia Flyers--played at Fenway Park on New Year's Day. These were the toughest tickets to get I've seen in a long time.
