Another decade gone I guess. Truly remarkable to consider how different things were in 2000. This web site was unveiled in March of that year. No children of my own. I worked at a recording studio. The country was about to experience the tech bubble burst and economic hardship. I guess some things haven't really changed.
Anyway, we have a lot to be thankful for as always. We had a great, busy holiday season. My mother, sister, and neice came to visit us for the Thanksgiving weekend. Old friends, the Rinehart's, joined us for the festive day. Twelve people and a dog. We gave thanks for our great abundance, watched a little football, played a little football, ate, drank, and made merry. Later that weekend, Madeline skated for the first time. At age two, she laced them up before my boys ever did, and she loved it. Now my sister knows all the rinks in northern California.
For Christmas, we traveled to Toledo, OH, and spent the week with Libby's family. A nice time as always and the cousins really enjoyed each other. We saw Christmas lights at the zoo, did some skating, a winter hike, ate, drank, and made merry.
I hope your holidays were great and look forward to hearing from you in the new year! I have to run because Luke and I are fortunate enough to attend the Winter Classic at Fenway Park! Life is grand.
