Another sport, another season, another championship quest. It's unsurprisingly easy to get used to. I learned to write things like that in my "Endearing Yourself to Others Through Graciousness" class. I was fortunate enough to attend the AFC Championship game against the Chargers. It was less than twenty degrees with the windchill. Hand and feet warmers are truly a brilliant invention.
Anyway, we went to Toledo for Christmas and didn't get many pics. I built a backyard ice rink on New Year's Day. Froze about 2,000 gallons of water in two cold days. Then it all melted, and I rebuilt it to improve the level. Another 2,000 gallons. Haven't seen the water bill yet, and it all melted again. It's great when it works, but global warming may be too tough to combat.
My neice, Madeline, turned one year old yesterday! Happy Birthday to her. A couple pics.
On a sad note, Libby lost her grandfather, Richard Schweitzer, last month at age ninety, and we all returned to Ohio for the funeral. I think all of her relatives that I've ever met made it, and it was a nice memorial service.
