Wow! Six days earlier than "planned", Ben Charles Foster became the youngest exalted member of the Newton Foster's. He arrived at 2:54pm, 20" long and 6.9lbs. He looks a fair amount like his brother at birth with an inexplicable head of black hair, but one major difference is that his fingers and toes are about as long as mine, which really adds to the monkey resemblance. We LOVE monkeys.

Mommy had a complete birthing experience and is recovering nicely. We're happy to be past the hard part and look forward to the easy stuff like sleepless nights, wondering why Ben's crying and wondering, hey, where'd Luke go?
