On 6 June I started my third job in less than three years. I had only worked at my previous job for about ten months as a software development consultant. I enjoyed the work immensely, but with the economic downturn, the work dwindled.

Due to financial difficulties at the corporate level, they closed the branch office that was eight miles from my house. They consolidated ours and another office to the Bloomfield, CT location nearly one hundred miles away!

On the plus side, I was able to telecommute/work from home often. I only made the trip down south once a week. Unfortunately, I didn't see the opportunities or the situation improving so I found another job.

The company is called Trinity Partners, Inc. They are a 16-person, privately-held, management consulting firm that specializes in pharmaceutical sales. They have hired me as the CTO/Sr. Systems Engineer/Lead Programmer/Waterboy.

In other words, they know they have some technology needs. They're sort of leaving it up to me to figure out what they are and how to do 'em. Thus far, it's problem-solving at its best, which I love. The environment is very casual and the people are great.
