Well, the party was intimate. I had invited as many of the locals as I knew and many from around the country that had a shot at getting out here. The grand total of attendees (Libby and I included) was eight....

The joint celebration for my best friend since sixth grade, Kurt Rinehart, and me was held at Jillian's on Landsdowne Street. It's an adult-minded game arcade, pool hall and restaurant/bar.

We had a blast. Kurt and Susie arrived shortly after us, and we played video games and skee ball all night. Kurt and I developed an obsession with an amazing virtual reality shoot-the-bad-guys game. Nothing like drinking beers and shooting the bad guys. Soon I'll have to set a better example for my child-to-be.

On that note, the effects of the pregnancy seemed to be in full swing so we returned home around 10:30pm. Those crazy thirty year-olds.
